Another move
I'm doing it again, but this time, it's going to be a lot more permanent. I've got a new site and that's where I'll be blogging from now on. So, I thought I would let all of you that read me here know. Take a look.

As if we never said goodbye
Now, after seeing those quiz results, perhaps the title of this entry makes more sense. No? Well, you aren't the Broadway fanatic I am then. It's a line (and title!) from one of the songs in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard. Great stuff, and it's especially nice to hear Glenn Close sing it.
Speaking of her, I bought
Fatal Attraction the other day. Mmhmm.
Right now I am running on very little sleep. I finished a paper at 6:40 this morning and got a few hours in after that, but I'm not going to sleep until after my class at 4:30. I have an exam in there and I should study a little more.
By the way, "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham! was
#1 in the U.S. the day I was born.

Which Disney princess are you?
Totally stealing this from Lindsay.
You are wise Belle! You are intelligent and quirky!
You may be seen as odd by some, but really you
are amazing with many wonderful dreams and
aspirations!
Which Disney Princess are you? brought to you by QuizillaOf course I'm Belle. Brunettes are the best.
Exciting, I know
While the two things I'm about to speak of aren't
really related, I've made a decision. I will not cut my hair until I have been asked on a proper date that both parties involved agree beforehand
is, indeed, a
date*.
Life goes on. Sigh.
We are currently searching Norman for a place to live. My dad is coming up here on Friday and we're heading out to scour the town for a residence suitable for myself, my younger brother**, Heather***, and Aaryn****. Please pray that we manage to find something good. Because when we do I am going to invite you all over for fun dinner parties and tea. You do like tea, don't you? And, in case you weren't aware, I am incredibly,
frighteningly domestic. I can cook. You just come over. You'll see.
My grade for the past three weeks in Spanish has been 138%. Each week. Because I am a nerd that does all the bonus work. So...I have an A. Thank goodness, because I'm not so sure about a few other classes.
Speaking of classes, this summer I am going to be staying here in Norman. Aside from getting a good tan, my plans are to go to school. I'm going to be taking Physical Geography and Women in the American West. Decided to minor in History. Won't that be wonderful? More reading on top of the things for my English classes. But really, if there is one thing that I will stress it's that
summer classes are WAY much easier and you should enroll in a couple. It is not that bad to go to school over the summer. Besides, you're just going to sit there in the sun and let your brain rot.
Over the past month I have regressed somewhere in my mind to the girl I was in 9th grade and have begun listening to Tori Amos. Incessantly. But it's so beautiful and ethereal.
I thought I'd see you again/You said you might do/Maybe in a carving/In a cathedral/Somewhere in Barcelona. Who else writes lyrics like that?

An Introduction of Sorts
I write other places and you should note that. Because I already get the feeling that this place could become very neglected. For right now though, let's pretend that it's my favorite of all these writing haunts of mine and that I'll be posting here on a regular basis.
Let's see, where do I start? I think maybe the only person reading this that knows me right now is
Lindsay, so this is for all the rest of you.
I fancy myself a writer. In May I will have completed my sophomore year at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in English (Writing). I want to be a wife and a mom and a novelist and have a house that always smells like really yummy food. I can cook (who knew?) and I love cleaning bathrooms. Always have. My parents were discussing the other day how I've always done it, and derived some sort of bizarre pleasure from it. Maybe I just like the smell of bleach. (Tip: Tilex Mold & Mildew is
incredible and has many uses outside of the bathroom. For instance, if you spill V8 on your brand new
white linen trousers, take a Q-tip and get a little Tilex, dab it on the stain and
voila!)
I just posted a cleaning tip. Gracious me.
Alright, so there is a little bit about me. I'll be writing again...soon.
